We have arrived safely. The flights were smooth and event free. We even got a clear view of the Swiss Alps as we flew over. Found our Air BNB in Montparnasse and then had a rest after 33 hrs of travel. The sites, colors and sounds are so very French. Watching countless French munching on their afternoon baguettes was almost a cliche.

Here is what is in my pack. And what it looks like all packed.
We are packed and ready. We did a big walk last Tuesday – 6 hours, covering 26 kms with full packs. Mine was 10.4 kgs. We walked under the railway line and saw signs of spring.
Got home and after a nana nap, felt good. Here is the track. 
Met a fellow hiker, Julie, while in town. Now on countdown to departure, only 11 days to go. Woohoo.
And then on the way home, we met this guy… echidna. So special.
